CALL FOR PROPOSALS FOR THE SECOND HALF OF 2012: DEADLINE 5PM FRIDAY 28 OCTOBER
We are currently seeking proposals for exhibition, publication or performance projects for the second half of our 2012 programme. If you would like to be considered for this round please submit your proposal by 28 October 2011. Please consult the guidelines for proposals before submitting and contact the director if you have any questions.
The Blue Oyster prioritises projects that are speculative, experimental and display innovative art practice. Curatorial decisions are based on the depth and quality of the project regardless of career stage. As a non-profit organization we prioritise new work that is not commercially orientated. We aim to broaden interest in and understanding of contemporary arts by providing a forum for discussion and debate regarding contemporary art issues. Projects will be considered on this basis.
